Perfect place to stay with friends and family. Nice landscape with small stream and a bridge outback with a path down the stream. The house is comfy and has everything you need. Lots to do from 5 minutes to 45 minutes away. Downtown West Jefferson is just 10 minutes away with a nice downtown. Lots of shops, restaurants, breweries and the Famous Ashe County Cheese Factory.

A great place in the NC Mountains (Jefferson area)

This is my second time renting this great house near Jefferson, NC. Like my first visit, the house is spotlessly clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was easy and efficient, and the host pays attention to little details that make it feel like home. Highly recommended.

Great location close to everything.

Had a great time and was very happy with our stay. Located just minutes from grocery stores and downtown West Jefferson, 15 minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, and 30 minutes from Boone. Homeowners are super friendly and quick to help with any issues you may have. We plan on returning soon for another great visit.

Great Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend in the mountains! This property is cute, comfortable, clean, and convenient. We explored the wider area and there are lots of close attractions within 45 minutes. Kitchen was well stocked which is important to us trying to cook for a family. Would defnitely recommend a stay here and we will try to get back too.

Great stay and location

The property was very well maintained. We couldn't enjoy the firepit or the trail located behind the home due to rain but we enjoyed the fireplace and the home itself. Plenty of room, very clean, wonderfully stocked kitchen...could tell the owners really cared about their guests. The location is fantastic, less than 10 minutes to West Jefferson and 14 miles from West Jefferson to Boone. We have definitely found our destination for future trips.

Wonderful Stay

Our family was in the area to attend a memorial service for my dad. The property owner was very understanding and accommodating of our schedule constraints and was so easy to work with to assure we didn’t have to worry about anything when it came to checking in and out of the property. The property itself was very clean and comfortable and even had small details such as fall decor to compliment the fall season in the mountains. Very cute and cozy. We would love to stay there again under different circumstances when we could really enjoy the entire setting.

A gem of a house near Jefferson, NC

What a great house! The layout worked great for our group--plenty of privacy as well as a very comfortable living area for visiting. It was well-equipped with everything we needed. When searching for houses, I noticed that all the comments for this house were very positive and really made the listing stand out. The comments were all correct! The house was extremely clean and comfortable and communication with the hosts was outstanding. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

A Wonderful Ashe County Experience

We were in the area for a wedding and this was the perfect home base. It was cozy and had enough room for the adults and kids. The owner’s parents are on the property and we’re extremely helpful and accommodating. They showed up around the property and even lit the bonfire so we could make s’mores! The fireflies came out at around 8:30pm and made it a magical experience. It was quiet but also 5-8 min from downtown. The amenities were also nice, as there were several things already there and an abundance of towels. I highly recommend staying here if you’re going to be in the Jefferson/Ashe County area!

Convenient to West Jefferson, NC

We rented here because it is a great location for where our family reunion was meeting in Ashe County. The owner of this home is very responsive! His dad lives nearby and quickly responded to any need. This roomy house was perfect for our family. It has a very well equipped kitchen!! The queen beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the back deck, creek, bridge, and wildlife. We will definitely rent this place again! We discovered that we were close to Gem Valley LLC. It was the first time our son and grandson had been gem mining. The owner and gemologist made the experience a wonderful experience! Our favorite places to visit in West Jefferson include the Honey Hole and the Ashe County Cheese store. Sweet Louise’s cafe was a great find for breakfast or lunch. This is a sweet find in Ashe County!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming mountain home! The house was spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend getaway. The location was quiet and conveniently close to all of our planned activities. Good water pressure and it warmed up nicely for exhausted muscles. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for our annual trip to the mountains to get our Christmas tree. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Very clean, very nice bath linens, has everything you would need.

Comfortable and Clean

We’ve been renting cabins in the mountains multiple times a year since our daughter was a freshman at App in 2015. This home was by far the cleanest and most well stocked of any property. We don’t normally stay this far outside of Boone/Blowing Rock but booked this stay due to a wedding in Jefferson. The home was private, had everything we needed, exceptionally clean, soft and had plentiful towels. The host was very responsive. We would book here again.
