"It is a very nice clean hotel with friendly staff. However, there were a few things about it that I did not like. There is no soundproofing. You can hear everything happening outside, in the hallways, and furniture dragging in the rooms above you. The pool was very hot. It felt like a hot tub. It was not comfortable. They offer pool towels. The towels are clean, but they smell bad from overuse. The food was overpriced for the buffet and some items from the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was mediocre."
"The cleaning staff was great. There are some areas in the bathroom that need more detailing, shower door, soap holder and toilet. Room 315 had a leaky faucet from tge first day. We told the housekeepers and front desk, y nada! The breakfast buffet was cold for the most part. There was a young lady who helped out the day that there was no buffet. She was fast, courteous and professional. Thank her please. We did but coming from the management would be nice. The pool bar areas need tidying up. Popcorn and trash were there overnight. I told the tall gentleman at the front desk the next day. Hehe...LOTS of cell phone usage bt staff in the dining room and reception areas. They need to be more aware of their surroundings and more attentive to guest traffic to convey a more professional atmosphere. Asley in tours was very professional and explained options very well. Thank you for listening. "
"Best bang for your buck! What a cool hotel. The apartment size of the rooms, and the shared courtyard made you feel you were living in your new, fun community. The host Blanca, and her charismatic doggie, quickly became are new friends. There are good restaurants, and small stores to stock up on supplies within walking distance.
Breakfast tip, take a cab to Benito Juarez Mercado and pick a restaurant jammed with locals.
A/C great. WIFI great."
"Quirky, fun, hostel-like property. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed both pools and the area.
It's a chill, relaxed environment at Nilu and the area. My morning routine was to get a cappuccino nearby at 360, walk to the beach and watch the surfers."
"My wife & I just stayed 9 nights for the first time in Puerto Escondido and Hotel Santa Fe. We arrived at Hotel Santa Fe and was greeted by the very courteous & helpful staff. The front desk manager Salvatore oversaw our room check in, showed us the property & amenities, and helpful for us in any activities we were interested in. Salvatore was excellent! The property is classic rustic style and the rooms are well appointed (got what you need). My wife and would like to point out how comfortable our King mattress bed was in our suite. We slept very well the entire stay. We loved the cleanliness of our room and the property as well. We ate in the restaurant every day and it is very good plus amazing views of the beach across the street. Enjoy watching sunsets every night from the comfortable outdoor seating. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Santa Fe and we are looking forward to returning sooner than later.
Thank you,
John & Rosa K"
