Hummingbird Cabin, located down Riverroad close to local shops and restaurants!

This lovely cabin sleeps up to 22 people. There are 6 bedrooms, 10 beds, and two futons. The location of the cabin is down river road near the Frio River and close to many local stores. Walking distance to one the most popular restaurant, Hippie chics, as well as the others and public pool. There is big parking for the cabin. The backyards has 3 hammocks, a BBQ pit, two picnic tables, a round fire pit, cornhole, and horse shoe games. The inside of the cabin has two fridges, one microwave, a blender, toaster, etc. We leave bed covers/ sheets at NO EXTRA COST, as well as six towels (body and face). NO PETS!!

Very relaxing

Nice property plenty of room to sprawl out, kid friendly trail to walk, nice outdoor table for cookout, good dining room table for card games, plently of bathrooms, nice to have kitchen to prepare food. Easy clean up!

The Hummingbird cabin was great the only problem we had was they only left 6 towels for 17 people and there was very little toilet paper but over all we had a great stay for our family reunion

Truly amazing place

A group of friends and their kids stayed for a weekend. The host was easy to contact and responded promptly. Check in was very hassle free. When we got in the house we were amazed. The house has plenty of space with plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms to accommodate a large group. The outside patio and fire pit area was where we spend most of our time when we were at the house. Spacious kitchen with enough appliances to suit our needs. 2 fridges was VERY helpful. Close to the outfitters/general stores. The property next door had some music playing at night but we barely noticed it. There was private access to a trail which was a nice way to start the morning. Overall we were more than happy with our stay and if we choose to return to the area we will definitely try and stay here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fun weekend getaway!!

Highly recommend the hummingbird cabin!! It was such a fun time getting together with my brothers and their families. We were able to do our annual early July vacation at the Frio. Although the water levels were too low to float, the owner of the home as well as the employees at Josh’s Outfitters gave us great recommendations to find a place to swim/hang out. It was such an easy process when it came to down to checking in and checking out. Everyone slept comfortably and was able to find the home easily. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The owner communicated with us very well and we were able to communicate with them whenever we needed something. Again, thank you for allowing us to stay at your home. We hope we can one day come back!

PERFECTION!

The host were perfect. No one was there the night before, they granted us an early check-in. The cleanliness of the property was fantastic. All the pictures of the property do no justice. It was even better in person. The picnic area was just awesome for whoever. Would be great to see an above ground pool for next time.

Great place to stay for large groups!

We stayed for the weekend for a family reunion. This was a great location and a nice outdoor space. The host was very attentive and have us an informative welcome as she stopped by to share information. Thank you.

Great place and hosts

The hosts were friendly and responsive from the very beginning (almost two years ago). The place was very comfortable, with plenty of space both inside and out to socialize or take some quiet time to yourself. We were not there during tubing season, but we got to enjoy walks, restaurants, local shopping. I would highly recommend Hummingbird to anyone looking for a place in Concan.

Clean, Spacious Home and a great location.

Very nice place with plenty of room to hang out on the property. House was very clean and well organized. Long walk, but doable distance to a grocery store and the Frío River. Only issue we had was not recieving check-in info until requested, but it was resolved quickly.

Great home with friendly hosts

Our family had a great time! Absolutely loved the outdoor space. The big kids had fun exploring the trail in the back and relaxing on the hammocks. The adults loved the outdoor kitchen set up! Beautiful home and had everything we needed! The hosts we wonderful people.

AMAZING CABIN

We had a group of 15 and this cabin was perfect!! More than enough room, felt very cozy and the outdoor space was perfect for lounging around, bbqing, playing games and having a few drinks. Jackeline was so nice and friendly. Whole experience was great. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful Weekend at Hummingbird on the Frio

We had a great time at the Hummingbird! The house had plenty of beds for our family and friends. The house itself is kept clean and it’s really nice. The back patio is where we spent most of our time, it has a plenty of room, lots of space for outdoor activities, and a lot of seating for hanging out and having fun. The location of the house is great too. You are near just about everything you could need, a convenient stores, restaurants, souvenirs stores, and even a little ice cream shop. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

A lot bigger in person

We stayed at this house for 2 nights to visit the frio river. My family & I had a blast here and when we arrived we noticed that the place was a lot bigger in person than what it was in the pictures. The owners were very nice, & the vibe there was even better. If we ever plan on going back we’ll 100% try to stay here again.
