“Great hotel - but much further away from SJO than I realized. This is definitely off the beaten path, but it was a great way to kick off my vacation after arriving in the middle of the night. Beautiful grounds filled with mango trees and wildlife to walk off a great breakfast prepared by the hotel.”

“We loved our stay here. The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the enclosed seating area at the front of each cabin, with fresh coffee provided, was a great place just to sit for a while.……

“Unfortunately we only spent one night here. Beautiful property we wish we could have enjoyed more. The included morning breakfast was excellent. A wonderful breakfast plate is freshly made as you enter their dining area. You don't order anything, they just bring you an tasty Costa Rican breakfast - really one of my highlights of our trip. “AC was great, clean room with attached private bathroom. Loved all the plants everywhere and close to the Main Street that had tasty food options - would definitely book again. They helped book an airport shuttle for 3:30am”

“Beautiful oasis in the city. The perfect place to spend a night before our early morning flight. The owner was so friendly and kind. She helped us get a taxi to the airport and even noticed we had a surfboard with us and arranged for us to get a bigger vehicle to make sure it fit. We highly recommend this place!”

“Schönes Zelt mitten im Regenwald. Die Anfahrt war allerdings etwas anstrengend. Deshalb sind wir auch beide Tage dort geblieben und haben vor Ort Wanderungen gemacht oder waren am Pool. Der ist klein, aber sehr hübsch angelegt. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Wifi nur im Hauptgebäude. ”
