The Lodge is on a lake and it is very peaceful there. I stayed there because there is a restaurant attached and it was convenient. But the restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast and the coffee bar/ alcohol bar didn’t open until 4 pm, so wasn’t useful. Also the first floor is on the second floor and no elevator so if you have any physical disability, this isn’t the place for you. But if you love to golf or use the lake, it’s great. I saw several families also staying there.

I went off prior reviews I found and was slightly disappointed. The room was smaller than expected, with a strange smell from the AC unit. Shampoo and conditioner in the shower but no body wash. I also thought the room was on the smaller side.
The breakfast choice was not bad, but the eggs were some of the worst I've ever had at a hotel/motel offering free breakfast.
I'd stay again, if only for one night and if we had plans to go out for breakfast.
