The rooms don't look as nice as the photos. There was a chunk torn out of the sofa in our room, so we could only sit on one side. This is a dog-friendly hotel, so you hear a lot of yelling at the pets. Other than that, it was good if you are looking for some place to crash for 1 night.
Our stay was for 2 nights, but we ended up staying another night. It was good in my opinion. Clean, and no bugs!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Comfortable and clean. Staff are very nice. Looks to have been recently painted. Shower curtain and linens all seem new. Shower soap is really good! The Inn is located right next to frontage road and traffic is heavy at times. But has a Starbucks within a short walking distance next door. Overall a good stay.
For the price the property was good. Location was convenient and parking was provided. The room could have been better maintained as it wasn’t cleaned well. The entire property smelled of marijuana while we were there. Had a full landlord special as far as repairs and cleaning. Ac worked great though. All in all it was good for what I paid for. Would use again if I had to. Front staff needs some hospitality training though
This is a typical no-frills motel. The check in lobby was a person behind a glass panel in a lobby booth ... don't expect a "front desk" arrangement. There is no place to eat and there is no breakfast option. There is laundry facilities and an ice machine. Each room has a small microwave and a large mini-fridge, in addition to the dish satellite TV. That is it. Park outside your door.
The motel is on the feeder road for the I-45 passing through north Houston so there is a lot of traffic noise. I was able to enjoy the TV during the day so it was not that bad. In the night it quieted down a bit and I used my earplugs which blocked out the old noisy AC wall unit and the traffic.
The only criticism of the room was the large gap under the door due to the concave floor; could allow flattish animals to enter the room. Had to block with a towel - see photo.

It’s was okay for the price and right next to Starbucks
Upon on arriving as soon I as walked in . I was meet with cigarette smoke of some sort . Like a whole carton of cigarettes! As I carefully place my things down go straight to the shower , I’meet with a couples of roaches inside the tub . I was so tired to go back and just leave or ask for refund . Will never stay there again
Here’s a version tailored for a hotel review:
Overall, the stay was okay, but the hotel could use some updates. The rooms felt very humid throughout our stay, which made them less comfortable, and the furniture and overall appearance felt outdated. While the room was adequate, better maintenance and a few renovations would greatly improve the guest experience.
Or, if you want it a little more direct:
The stay was okay overall, but the hotel could definitely use some updates. The rooms felt humid the entire time, and the furniture and decor seemed outdated. With some renovations and better upkeep, it would provide a much more comfortable experience for future guests.
My stay was rather scary here. There was a gap/hole in the corner of the exterior door big enough that any kind of reptile or varmint could easily enter.
