"The villa in itself is nice although there was a big problem when we arrived because we couldn’t get the early check in as we arranged, we asked if we could sit in the garden with our cases (this was around 1pm and we were told no. There were nine of us with four cases so we couldn’t do anything except go to the beach, people must have thought we were mad on the beach with cases but we just wanted to try to enjoy our holiday. Akquaaa Boutique Hotel

Akquaaa Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The room/location was perfect. This boutique hotel is directly on the beach/water, making it a prime location for swimming and Long Beach days. Walking distance to the small town of Calafell just about 5-10min away. Really nice restaurant in the lobby area as well. Very comfy bed and pillows! Similar to memory foam/temperpedic product which was a very nice surprise. Loved the large walk-in shower also! Things to know: - Taxi’s are very hard to find here. If you plan to use this as a home base, and travel in surrounding areas… I would highly recommend getting a car. TAXIs are way overpriced because they can be, and trains are hard to rely on and are never on time. Train station is only a 7min walk from the hotel which is nice though! - no streaming/smart TVs available"
