Great location and the rooms were well maintained and staff were friendly and assisted with getting a taxi to the cruises on time.

We stay at the Cluanie Inn quite often as it is a handy stop off before taking the ferry to the Western Isles. It is always excellent. Really friendly and helpful staff, a good menu, especially the Indian food and the rooms are beautifully maintained and a good size, which is great if you have a big Labrador. Midge the Labrador loves the Cluanie Inn. We have stayed at all of the Black Sheep hotels, and I can't speak highly enough of them.

It was a challenge to get in contact with the host to get checkin instructions. We had to place an international call as they claim they could not communicate via Hotels.com. Everyone else I dealt with could. Parking was ok once we got into the unit and got the parking permit. Great location as restaurants shopping and sight seeing were all walkable.

Wonderful hotel. Our room was cozy yet large and clean. Staff was kind and friendly.

We had a 2nd floor apartment with a balcony on the river. It had plenty of space for us. It had a great view and a short walk to the train and things around the town. Communication was ok through the app messaging or a phone call. My others in no particular order are: 1) we couldn’t figure out the heat… But ended up not needing it. There are instructions but we did not have a wall control and each room had individual radiators with different controls. The living area radiator was on when we arrived and we left it that way on the lowest setting. We tested a couple of others but couldn’t get them to turn on. It’s a big place with heavy doors so I assume not just one radiator will heat the whole place. But we were actually too hot and ended up cracking a window. 2). No washcloths. We had huge towels and hand towels that we ended up using as washcloths. Not the end of the world, but throw some washcloths in there. 3). The beds were really firm and pillows were flat and not supportive (had to ball them up to make it work). I know this is subjective so take it for what it is worth, but definitely very firm which I used to be pk with. We were in Edinburgh before and had a super comfy bed. So, great location, plenty of space, easy to get around, the app system worked fine, but had the issues noted above.
