Rooms were very nice but no privacy unless you close your curtains. Room safes did not work in either of our rooms. You cannot flush toilet paper due to old pipes. Area did not feel very safe but we did not need to leave the hotel without a guide since the dining in the hotel was great. “Sehr schön gelegen, Panoramaaussicht, sehr liebe Familie, man bekommt einen sehr guten Einblick in das Dorfleben. Preis sehr günstig, man muss zwar jedes Mal drei Dollar fürs Taxi bezahlen, um dort weg zu kommen, aber trotzdem noch günstiger als sonstwo. Man kann mit der Familie essen (gut und günstig) und auch auf dem Hof mithelfen. In der Unterkunft selbst hängen Informationen zu Touren aus, die leider gar nicht von der Unterkunft im Internet beworben werden. Hätten wir von den Touren gewusst,……

“Beautiful grounds, but no restaurant or real hospitality The grounds are well kept and the pool is beautiful with lush vegetation around it, about 1.2 hours from Quito. That's where the positives end. There is no functioning restaurant despite what's advertised — we were directed to a roadside eatery up the street with questionable sanitation. "Included" breakfast required scheduling an appointment and lady was not there a worker came out and told us to waited to brew coffee; we skipped it……
