Booked for 2 nights recently, room was clean and tidy, meals in the Bistro were average. Unfortunately, the 2nd night, from about 8pm, was made nearly unbearable by a family of 4, in the room beside us, who were verbally fighting, shouting and screaming , very very loudly, and the swearing was constant. We stayed quiet and said nothing to them the whole time, but after putting up with it for about an hour, we rang Hotel staff, they attended promptly and things quietened down, only for it to all start again within an hour and was the same, on and off, throughout the night until about 3am. We vacated our room very early, as we didn’t want to be confronted by anyone from that family.
We are extremely disappointed that no-one from the Hotel has even bothered to get in touch with us to even acknowledge that what took place that night was not acceptable and that at no time should we, as paying trusted customers, should be put in to a position where we absolutely felt, at times, scared and frightened. Needless to say, at this stage, we won’t be returning again.
