“A busy friendly pub hotel that made us feel very welcome. Very clean, very large comfy bed. A quiet large warm room and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and obliging and breakfast delicious. Loved the fact a table at dinner was reserved even without asking and then you could choose not to take it. We did and the menu was varied in a dining room that took good COVID precautions. We enjoyed our dinner. Really great value for money and would definitely recommend.”

“Perfect Stay! The house itself is in great condition—everything was clean, charming, and comfortable. Gordon and Maggie were lovely hosts who gave excellent local suggestions, and the breakfast was fantastic. They even went out of their way to make me a full vegan breakfast and were incredibly cautious with food allergies. On top of that, the property surrounding the B&B is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!”

“It was a little difficult to find and was not close to any restaurants etc. However, we enjoyed our stay. There were a lot of stairs if you have heavy luggage. The staff person who greeted us was a little grumpy, but the rest of the staff was excellent. Food was amazing. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious and clean. I would recommend to others.”

“The property was lovely, though the room showed its wear with some strange paint splotches on the ceiling and a bathroom that could use a little update. Most alarming though was someone else walking into our room during the night, as we didn't realize the door didn't automatically lock.. was quite frightening.”
