"Our cabin was mostly clean apart from a few dust webs that only showed up when the lights were on. All the important surfaces, (benchtop/shower/toilet) were spotless. Bed was comfortable and warm. Lovely lass in the reception/cafe/dining area of the lodge pretty much doing everything as it's 'off season' so very quiet. Had a lovely chat with the owner, Michael, before dinner re his history at the lodge and his signature branded rum, gin, wine etc. The lodge is very welcoming with a warming fireplace, antiques and leather chairs adding to the alpine ambience.
