"Excellent staff, very pretty and unique place to stay! I loved how the rooms were cozy and decorated, and how it was located right off 219. Could hear the highway noise at times, but not bad with the AC Unit running. Very clean, and the staff made everything so easy! Highly recommend!"

"Did not receive the room type that was in the reservation. When I went back to the front desk I was told there was nothing they could do except leave a note for a manager. Nothing was communicated to me about this at checkout either. "

"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"This property was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well stocked for a large family. The house itself feels very private because the cabins are spread apart. We went swimming at the beach, rented kayaks, went about 25 minutes away to Oakland, MD to Swallow Falls State Park and Deep Creek Lake. So much to do and everyone from grandma to the teenagers to the 1 year old had a blast. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds and couches are comfortable. Lots of towels. Would highly recommend "
" Very nice recently renovated 2 BR 1.5 bath - well stocked with thoughtful "extras" - very nice coffee/tea station; location very quiet in a gated resort - surrounded by trees - pleasant with wildlife seen driving to and from cabin - Swallow Falls State Park close by via car - the photos on the website are from the park and not at the cabin/property- owners very helpful and timely replys"
"Perfect for our Rest and Relax vacation. Very quiet area with lost of wild life present. The Mountains are Happy Place and Deer Ridge didn't disappoint. Hope to say again next year."
Deep Creek Serenity Retreat: Heated Pool, Patio, Hot Tub, Sauna, Gym, Game Room

"The property was everything our group needed to enjoy a long weekend and celebrate a 30th birthday. The rooms were separated enough to give people space, yet areas large enough to accommodate everyone at the same time if needed. The property inside and out is beautiful. "
"Property has everything you need and very clean! Was easy to find, driveway was paved and not steep so would be a great property to rent anytime of year. We all enjoyed the game room, internet connection was good. We definitely rent again."
"We had an amazing few days at Rest Assured! Communication with Janelle was great and she was very responsive and helpful. The property was very clean and we especially enjoyed the theater room and outdoor spaces with the hot tub and fire pit area. Would highly recommend!"
Lakefront, dog friendly, dock slip, hot tub, and fire pit

"My husband and I brought our 2 young adult children and their significant others and our 2 dogs. The property was everything we could have hoped for, and more! Spacious and clean with amazing outdoor space. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit with s’mores and the nice gas grill. The dock area was convenient and fun with a nice sitting area. We rented a boat from a nearby marina and enjoyed being able to use the designated boat slip. The young adults especially enjoyed the vintage games in the basement. We truly appreciated the opportunity to travel with our fur babies. The property was perfect. Look no further! Book it! "

"I stayed for a bachelorette trip and everyone in the group loved the house! It was super spacious, clean, and everyone in the group talked about how comfortable the beds were. The walk to the water was short and it was a less than 10 min drive from the main restaurants. Would recommend!"
Fantastic Cabin!!! Mountain Views King Bed Fast Wifi Veteran Owned

"Absolutely perfect! This location was close to Wisp Resort and Deep Creek in MD, but was much more reasonable in price. It was a lovely atmosphere outside, and very homey and cozy inside. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! "

"Fantastic and quiet spot and an excellent experience. The house was a fantastic space and we loved the game room and hanging around the great room and sunroom.
There were just a couple of essentials we needed to get because they weren't there (dish soap, trash bags), but it was minor and there is a grocery a short drive away. Definitely a place we're putting a pin in the next time we're planning on traveling to Deep Creek again."
2 mi from WISP & lake, outdoor hot tub, wood burning stove, luv DOGS!

"There are few things better than sitting in a hot tub outside just after twilight, looking at the stars, when it's comfortably cool. Especially in July in the mountains, away from the heat of DC and the racket of the city fireworks. Just sat in it for 45 minutes each evening, letting the toxicity of the news and life just melt away. The setting is beautiful, with a lovely deck at leaf level. I loved eating meals at the table and reading on one of the small sofas, with just the birds. At night, with the fans turned off and the sliding doors open, I could hear the bullfrogs (Jeremiah, maybe :-)? croaking away in the neighbor's pond a few hundred feet away. The cabin is only about 5 minutes from Wisp, and 15 minutes or so from some restaurants and shopping. It's quite close to Swallow Falls State Park, one of Maryland's best. The kitchen is very well equipped, but oddly, no spices or condiments. I wasn't doing any cooking other than leftovers, but something more than just a salt grinder would have been helpful. "
"This was the third year that we stayed at the cabin. We have consistently been happy. The only disappointment was, the first several days of the week were very warm, I would have liked to been able to turn on the fan on the first floor living space to lower the temperature in the upper bedrooms ( the remote to control the fan is missing)Besides this, which was Not really a big issue, everything else was close to perfect. Thanks for any enjoyable stay!"
"This cabin was the perfect escape! It struck the ideal balance between comfort and nature- exactly what you'd want fora relaxing stay at Alpine Lake. The home was incredibly well-stocked with everything from towels and dishes to cleaning supplies, spices, and extra linens. It made settling in so easy. The fire pit was a favorite of mine-perfect for unwinding under the stars, which you can actually see clearly at night! The setting is quiet and serene, offering true peace and privacy. If you're planning a trip, I highly recommend bringing groceries and taking advantage of the kitchen. There aren't many great dining options nearby, but the cabin has everything you need to cook and enjoy meals comfortably. I only wish had visited a little later in the season to see the trees and flowers in full bloom-but even without that, the stay was amazing. If you're looking for a peaceful mountain getaway with all the essentials and thoughtful touches, this is the place for you. I will absolutely be back!"
Porch Paradise | Walk to Lake | Pet Friendly | Sleeps 13
6/10 Okay
"If you want a real getaway weekend this is the place for you. You need to be prepared to travel on some backroads but once you get to Alpine Lake it is beautiful. The internet was out almost our entire weekend and I did report to the management three times without hearing back from them. The beds were very comfortable kitchen was stocked just okay in my opinion. We appreciated the cleanliness. The steps leading into the cabin are steep and it was pouring down rain when we got there so they are very slippery so that could be hazardous. The smoke alarm in the basement was removed and laying on a table. I did contact them right away about that and they were to come over the next day with batteries but that never happened. The cabin is stocked with lots of games and our children enjoyed those. The DVD player in the main family room did not work. We had a nice weekend but overall it could have been better. "
Updated cabin with private hot tub, wraparound deck & forest view - dog-friendly
8/10 Good
"The cabin was pretty clean, it had enough room and space for 10 people and we have extra beds left. The kitchen is well equipped with all utensils and plates, bowls, pans, etc. It was overall great! Unfortunately we had bad weather and the couches and the grill got all wet since the wind blew the covers. Also, the grill was not cleaned by guest and it was left all dirty so we had to clean it just to find out it didn’t have gas. "
"Beautiful location! Sorta close to grocery & gas. Resort may have food store. Didn’t check. Looks fantastic inside. Paneling design great. Plenty of room for family or separate space. Great front porch. Great covered deck with table in back. "
