Interesting take on a boutique hotel, which was completely redone. Penthouse restaurant is excellent but expensive. The views from the restaurant are amazing. The pool area seem nice, but it was pretty cold and foggy most of the day so it was not used.

This historic building of a hotel is beautiful. Located conveniently, walking distance from the Gaslamp Quarters, but is relatively quiet & peaceful. Valet parking is very convenient. Staff is very pleasant & accommodating. We were upgraded, too, to their premiere floor. Corner room was cozy, but very aesthetically pleasing.

Staff was friendly Rooms were nice and comfortable I wish the pool was open later. After a day of sightseeing, it’s nice to come back to the hotel and relax by the pool but it closed at 8, so we really couldn’t enjoy it.
