So first the night time attendant took forever to get to the desk. It was late and I am sure he was asleep, but it was cold and I rang the door multiple times before calling another couple. Once finally checked in the room #4 had been upgraded in the ways they plan to upgrade. The Bathrooms we clean and newly re done. I liked the tile in the shower, it just didnt drain very well. The bed was comfortable, We used our own sheet on top of the blankets and our own blanket. The Heat was cold... it is an old Motel and you can tell that, while upgrading the could have used some spackling to fill in cracks and dents for a face lift. For what you pay though, other then the spider I woke up to in my hair that I picked up and tossed accross the room in my groggy state( I did get up and find/kill him). It is a place to sleep if you are staying a couple nights. I would recomend if you didnt plan to do anything but sleep and shower in the room...

We had a great experience staying at Pinball Pete’s place. Very clean, cozy, comfortable, with use of the kitchen and some food provided … and, of course, pinball! Our host also went above and beyond in helping us to resolve an unexpected issue. Hoping to stay there again in the future.

I've stayed here a few times now, and it's convenient, but not a four-star property. You will be unhappy in the unrenovated rooms: the thermostat inevitably doesn't work properly, the mattress is hard/lumpy, and some linens literally threadbare/frayed. The new design is sophisticated enough, with a *great* lighting plan (integrated, intuitive, right color temp), comfortable bed, responsive thermostat, and roller shades with edges covered by slats. But even with that, you quickly notice issues: a clogged shower drain leaving you racing to shower quickly before it overflowed; another one with no niche for your items so you have to leave them on the floor and a shower handle either broken or installed incorrectly, making it hard to get warm water or to turn it off when it got scalding. Even little things: there's no extra blanket; all the pillows are the same overfilled poly, too tall for your neck; at late night, they blocked the door with a trash can, making the lobby smell like garbage. More importantly, they should have taken all that $$ and invested it in soundproofing: you hear the elevator, people in the hallway, the construction on the floor above, & the cleaning crew outside. Not that I would have needed that, because (despite the DND tag) they not only knocked on my door but called to see if I was still there (yes but no longer asleep). The woman on duty was very professional and apologetic but others less so. I'll stay here if my fav hotel is booked/too pricey but FYI

The hotel is okay, it's a bit dated. The tub had definitely some black yuck around the caulking. The staff doors were propped open that didn't really make me feel safe.
