  • If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, then this cottage rental is perfect for you! It is nestled on the bank of a 110-acre watershed lake (Banker’s Lake) in western Kentucky.
    Fishing, canoeing and kayaking are just steps away from the porch of this quaint little cottage. The use of canoes, kayaks, paddles, and life jackets is included with the rental. There is also a small beach area for children and a fire pit with wood provided.
    It is a wonderful place to relax and recharge from the hustle and bustle of your daily routine. Whether it be a small family escape or a romantic weekend getaway, you owe it to yourself to slow down, recharge and spend quality time with the ones you love.
    This rental is conveniently located just minutes away from Pennyrile State Park and only an hour drive from Land Between the Lakes (Kentucky and Barkley Lakes). It is less than 10 miles from Burdoc Farms (wedding venue), so this is a great place for out of town wedding guests.
    This cottage comes furnished with appliances, dishware, gas grill, towels, washer/dryer and dvd player w/ 40” television. A blow up mattress is also available to those who would like to bring an additional guest above the listed 3 sleeping spaces. Pets are also welcome for a small additional fee. NOTE FOR PET OWNERS - If you plan to bring more than one pet, please contact owner for a discussion about additional charges for those extra pets.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The location by the lake was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was comfortable, safe, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was quiet, and everyone was friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Me and my wife enjoyed our anniversary away from civilization. The cozy little cottage and the lake provided a perfect getaway from our day to day hustle and bustle. Only regret is only staying for 2 nights. It sure didn't feel like we were there long enough

This was a nice little cabin. The host was wonderful to communicate with. I was a little disappointed because it wasn’t as secluded as I thought based on the description or pictures. There were 3 houses reallyclose together and traffic due to being a watershed lake boat drop off.

If cabins could hug you, this one would. Clean, cozy, and absolutely adorable with tons of personality. It felt like stepping into a little Kentucky storybook. Huge bonus: it’s dog friendly, and our pup immediately claimed it as her vacation home. We loved every minute here and would come back in a heartbeat.

Perfect cozy cabin to stay at during our wedding weekend at Burdoc farms! Instructions from host were clear, the space was perfectly accommodating, and the scenery was gorgeous and private. We loved it!

The cabin was absolutely adorable and very clean! We were under the impression by the way it is listed that it is lake front( on the lake) but it isn't. You're about 600 or 700 ft away. I believe this is family land and they all live there. There is only 1 cabin to rent. You can't fish or swim due to how bad the algae is. You'll catch a fish but trying to get it past all the algae is another thing. We did go to Pennyrile state park beach which is amazing!!!

The cabin was very cute. Looked like pictures. It was clean but very dusty and spiderwebs and spiders. Maybe the time of year don’t know. We rented because it was within thirty minutes of our house with room for dogs to run and canoe and water access. Within ten minutes of being there we read that there were other dogs roaming the property. And we saw the m shortly after checking in. They were nice but our dog is almost completely blind so having the other dogs there created him to be very upset not aggressive by no means but anxious and uncomfortable. We rented for two nights only stayed one. The advertisement made it sound more secludes then it really was. Other cabins people outside constantly. I was hoping for more quiet then it was. Although the place is nice. I probably would never go back.
