“ The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.”

“Our family has stayed at quite a few rental properties over the years, but this one tops them all. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, scenic, and the perfect mountain escape. The cabin itself is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need, which made our stay feel easy and comfortable from start to finish. Close to town with other fun nearby locations to visit. - The town is nice and feels like Mayberry. - There are nice state parks that run along the river all the way to the Virginia border with hikes to the nearby mountains and rivers which my kids (8 and 12) loved doing. - The river also has public access pretty close to town which was clearly a local watering hole which I preferred to an ocean beach.
