From firm tourist favorites to still-undiscovered gems, Colima is brimming with natural and cultural attractions. Manzanillo and El Centro are two more places you may wish to visit while you're in Colima.
Approximately 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northwest of Cuyutlan is Manzanillo, an important regional city which is home to Playa Olas Altas, Playa San Pedrito and Playa Miramar. La Mantarraya and Playa La Audiencia are also good places to spend time.
If the weather is good, take the time and discover Colima's open-air exhibits. If you need to escape the elements, you can't better Colima's excellent art museums, craft workshops and history museums. These are great places to to learn a little about the region's rich cultural tapestry and find a unique souvenir or two.
