"We stayed twice - once at the beginning of a 2 week trip and once at the end. Both times it was near perfect for us. The whole unit is brand new from windows to bathroom - and done well (e.g. new quality appliances and fixtures; tilework, floors, trim all good quality and workmanship, etc.). Nothing junky. We liked that you park right outside the room since we bring in a lot of stuff. No noisy neighbors and far enough off the street - so no traffic noise. We would stay there again."

"This place is very clean and is comfortable. The location was amazing because we could walk to restaurants and different things in downtown Spearfish! Just be aware that there is stairs to climb and you will get your exercise in! But my husband and I loved it. "

"The location was great - walking distance to several downtown businesses. It was very clean and comfortable. Was cool at night and warm during the day but had no issues with heating or cooling. Some issues with internet/Wifi first night but was fixed next day. Shower had good water pressure and bed was comfortable. Only suggestion is to add a light above the vanity in the bathroom. One of the kitchen barstools was broken so only had one and didn't have enough bathroom tissue so had to buy our own (didn't ask host to bring any). Didn't use kitchen much so no review but didn't see any issues at all. Overall, great stay and would use again if need arises."

"My husband and I rented this beautiful cottage for 7 nights to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, it was everything we hoped it would be and more! The cottage is beautifully appointed, very clean and has everything you need for an exceptional stay in the Black Hills. The aesthetic of the setting is breathtaking, surrounded by nature, it is quiet and peaceful. My husband especially loved the fresh eggs in the morning. I truly appreciated the water is on a well system, completely free of chemicals and safe to drink. I will absolutely stay here again for our next visit to the Hills."

"The loft was spotless and even larger than we anticipated. My family of 4 had plenty of space to move around. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Walking distance to coffee shops, shopping, and a grocery store. I thought overnight parking in the public lot would be a pain, but it was literally a 1 minute walk. Great property, would stay again!"
