After a busy morning checking out the sights around town, dOrleans Park is a lovely place to unwind, rest your legs and have a bite to eat.
This recreation and green space is often on the itineraries of visitors to Palermo. But d'Orleans Park isn't the only highlight in the area. Teatro Massimo, Palermo Cathedral, and Palace of the Normans are some other interesting attractions close by.

![The best views over magnificent Palermo are from the bell tower of the church [and I'm talking here about the best way I could have spent 2 EUR!].
You must wear a helmet, which ends up as a very stylish accessory.](https://mediaim.expedia.com/destination/2/eab5bcf728c58ebdfae92d9751b730d3.jpg?impolicy=fcrop&w=900&h=506&q=mediumHigh)
