The staff were friendly and could not have been more helpful. The pool was lovely and the restaurant good value. We also experienced an excellent massage in the hotel. Our large room was quiet and had a pleasant view of the river. Regular free shuttle bus to the old town is perfect, and it's only a short taxi ride from An Bang beach. Ours had a balcony overlooking the waterway. We enjoyed tea and coffee out there each morning. The staff was so lovely and caring. A van to and from the center of town runs four times a day, at no extra charge. The breakfasts include fresh fruits, local favorites and omelettes and soups made to order, all of which are included in the price. We took a fun cooking class, where we learned to make fresh spring rolls, Vietnamese pancakes and the fluffiest omelettes,which we flipped with the flick of the wrist. I still giggle remembering it! The pool area is slice of paradise. Although I cannot swim, I hung out there and enjoyed the best mojito I have ever tasted! Riverside Resort is the jewel of Hoi An.
