When I arrived the AC was out at the front desk. There were 2 staff, but they were both helping the only other customer in front of me. The room was quite large but old. Several stains present on the couch. The bathtub had a thick limestone film and their was a beetle in the sink. The bed was fairly comfortable and the temperature was challening to make the room comfortable. The breakfast was fair at best. The coffee tasted like liquid dirt and the hot foods at the buffet including the oatmeal was luke warm to cold. If we knew this, we would have skipped it and eaten breakfast elsewhere. In general, the hotel was in need of updating and renovations.

The property was adorable. Clean , would of been nice if the fridge was plugged in and cooled down also that there was a plug for the lamp , but maybe I didn’t look hard enough

For the price I expected more. The first room that I received was seriously nasty (see picture). I tried to dry some water around the toilet and was shocked to see the dirt on my rag. This motel is not at all handicap friendly. Even on the first floor I encountered a great deal of walking with luggage since parking was on the outskirts of the building. A second room (my alternative) was on the second floor. I had to climb a set of stairs with luggage through substandard, nasty, badly stained walk ways. I considered taking a video of the slum like conditions. The bed/mattress was atrocious, too soft and squeaky. The office chair proved hazardous since the wheels rolled quickly at the first point of impact. No other chair was provided. The TV couldn’t have been more than 28 inches. The only positive addition was a larger size than the mini fridge. I wish Expedia would select the suggested properties more carefully. Motel Atrea should not have made the cut.
