Upon walking into the lobby area and looking out at patio pool area, I said to my group now this is a nice hotel. I actually had canceled my reservation at another property in the area due to the fact their pool was under maintenance so I called your property and was told the pool was open. While checking in I ask receptionist the pool is open right because I didn’t see anyone using the pool she said no I said I just call and whomever answer the phone said it was open, so she said let me check and I’ll get back to you, she never got back with me but I was awaken the noise of people in the next morning. So the kids did get to use the pool 1 day of our stay. Proceeding to the rooms it gets bad the carpet leading to elevator was dirty to the point it needs to be ripped out and replace because it smells and stained so badly, reach elevator it has a smell, walk into room carpet in the same condition and smells bad in the room. Stain on bathroom floor and hair on floor, tub grout needs to be treated with whitening because it looks dirty, stain on bed sheet on 1 of the bed, I have small kids in my group, so first we can’t keep them entertain by going to pool they can’t play in the room on the floor because it nasty. I would’ve canceled the room but I had a reservation at a spa near and didn’t have time to start looking for another hotel. I guess you get what you pay for 2 rooms for 2 nights for under $400 and it’s a Laquinta what was I thinking.
