I enjoyed my stay. Gabriel, really took care of me when I was there. He was attentive and prompt and very kind. The hotel itself is in a very quiet area and there is not much around to do unless you have means of transportation to get around. It’s a perfect place to unplug, read books, drink your wine, and just be. I will say most of the things were on the pricier side, like the wine and drinks, so maybe bring snacks and drinks that you can have during the day if you’re not going to leave the premise.

Wonderful Relaxing Getaway

My sister and I had a fabulous three-night stay at Dalt Muntayna. Petra is absolutely fantastic and will make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is tucked away in the mountains surrounded by loads of birds, bugs and wildlife. A lovely little retreat to get away from my city life. Would highly recommend Dalt Muntanya if you're looking for a relaxing stay. The hotel is well located for day trips as well; we visited to Soller, Alcudia, Bunyola, and Alaro. The town and surrounding area are very short on restaurants, so if you're someone who enjoys a foodie holiday, you'll need to plan ahead to book dinner reservations while you're out and about. However, the food at Dalt Muntanya is fantastic; it was the best dinner we had on our trip.

Gorgeous for a remote escape

Beautiful well-maintained rustic hotel in remote mountain area and good value. This spot is a perfect escape from reality in a gorgeous setting. If you plan on seeing more of the island and eating at different places, a car is recommended. If eating on site, the burgers are very good.

The stay at Nou Dalt Muntanya was absolutely great, welcoming, and just what we needed - a perfect, intimate, clean place with the most beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere is relaxing and just what a soul needs to be able to smile. We strongly recommend it for families and for people who just need few days in a place you usually don't get to experience so often.

If you would like to escape to the countryside in Mallorca this location is very nice. You get the basics, but some of the rooms are close to the restaurant which is a bit nosy in the evenings. The personal is very nice.

Sometimes, if you are lucky, you find something special. Nou Dalt Muntanya is sich a place - a wonderful hotel run by special people. The tiny village, the scenery, the breakfasts, the hikes, the pool and garden, Petra, Eduardo - all ensured that we had a fantastic holiday. We lengthened our stay!

Excellent quality at a great price. Petra, Patrick and staff are lovely. Orient is absolutely beautiful ESPECIALLY during a new moon (beautiful sky). Food is excellent. I still can’t believe the quality compared to the price! This stay is really underrated and I suggest going now before the ratings catch up to the quality of the services. Exceeded my expectations—and I’ve been staying luxury—and really believe there’s no better place to spend the night in Tramuntana. Just charming

It’s difficult to put into words how special this place is. The food The service The energy The pool The bedroom The terrace The views… Everything was just perfect I was looking for a place to recharge for a few days & this place ticked all the boxes & more. It’s a quiet & relaxing yet friendly oasis & it will be somewhere I return to time after time. Located in the very small village of Orient, where there’s only one other restaurant (limited opening hours) & a few beautiful houses. The surrounding mountain backdrop made waking up each morning feel very special. Petra & Patrick are wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much & they made me feel so comfortable as a solo traveller. Before I arrived they were very helpful answering all questions, organised airport transfers & were very accommodating with my flight being delayed. They also have a great recommendation for massages. Their team are some of the most friendliest & attentive that I’ve ever met. Full of smiles & warmth & as much chat/advice as you want. The food served on the beautiful terrace, was delicious & there is an amazing selection of wines & possibly the best sangria on the island! Having only opened a few months ago, they have lots of exciting plans & I can’t wait to come back again & again.

A lovely house in a beautiful village. The staff was very friendly but also careless. The breakfast was nice but the food at the restaurant was not so great. I had to leave at 7 when check out and although I had been promised severel times to get a simple sandwich instead of the breakfast no one was there in the morning. You schould also really plan your dinner beforehand. There are not many options and if you are unlucky there are nights when both the restaurant at the hotel and the nearby restaurant are closed even if the hotel says the nearby restaurant are going to be open. This is a beatiful area and as I said the staff are very friendly. But the owners aspires on becomming a 5 star place and that is not possible as it is today. They have to way better the standard on the meny and also the happy-go-lucky atitude on the staff. To sum up: I recommend the place if you are prepared for that maybe not everything is going to be exactly what you expected.

En helt magisk upplevelse att komma hit. Ägarna (en liten familj på tre) och personalen tilltalade mig vid namn och fick mig att känna mig som hemma direkt. Hotellet är en gammal charmig byggnad som blivit totalrenoverad av nya ägarna med finess och öga för inredning. Mat i restaurangen, frukost, renlighet och den mysiga trädgården med pool får högsta betyg! Närhet till vandringsleder och den vackra omgivningen av berg gör detta till ett litet paradis på jorden! Vill du komma bort ifrån storstad, butiker och turism och finna lugnet är detta ett perfekt ställe att åka till. Passar ensamresenärer såväl som familjer, par och grupper. Alla verkar i stort sätt ha samma syfte med resan (rörelse och klippning) vilket gör stämningen och atmosfären till ren magi! Älskar detta ställa och kan varmt rekommendera det!
