“The staff is the nicest group of people I have ever met! I have traveled to 50 countries and this holiday inn in Danville blew me away! Clean, great breakfast and the staff could not do more for us ! Walking distance to several restaurants and Walmart . Also they had free bottled water, free fresh baked cookies , free suckers and free mints in the lobby! The best holiday inn I have ever been to!”

“Overall, my stay was fine, but I was disappointed by the hotel’s handling of smoking around the main entrance. I have an allergy to cigarette smoke, and during my stay there were people smoking on the bench immediately next to the front entrance. This meant having to walk through cigarette smoke whenever entering or leaving the hotel. I mentioned this through the hotel’s text-message feedback system and was told that there were designated smoking areas elsewhere around the property. I then……

“Super unique property! It's like staying at a Pioneer Village. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and very historic. We also loved the on site restaurant. We felt super safe and it was a really unique experience!”

“The staff was very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately the entire building smells like smoke. The halls and inside our guest room, sheets, towels. Everything was embedded with it. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke this isn’t the best option. Also the walls were super thin, lots of noise. I hate to leave negative notes, but for health reasons some of you might need this info.”
