We arrivied at 7:40 and the responsible of the restaurant disapproved to come at 8:30. Hopefully the person who welcame us proposed 9pm we accepted. When we arrived the responsible of the restaurant ignored us (without salutation). It’s clearly not welcoming and refused to do cocktail. Restaurant is a bad experience.

Paid for a decent room, and have stayed in better hostels, at £644 for 3 nights you expect to be in a decent standard. Was eventually moved, and was like night and day with the two different rooms but the same class. The hotel is starting to look very tired, and needs a refresh especially the bathrooms.

Older property, Very basic. No regular service. Comfortable bed

Room was clean. Rather small wardrobe though with 4 coat hangers and I was in a double room on my own so not surwe how a couple would cope as there isnt any drawers either. Bed was comfy, pillows too soft for me that ls a personal choice. Young receptionist when we first arrived was miserable! We waited for a while in the bar to be served whilst the 2 bar staff were on there phones.

Loud construction sounds during the visit, starting at 9 am. Was jet lagged and trying to get some extra sleep, so did not help. The rooms are very old and a bit grim. The lobby is quite modern and a bit misleading. It turns out they are renovating (hence the noise). I would hope they can keep the noise down early in the morning. Staff were pretty helpful and overall it was fine for a last minute booking on the cheap side.
