Lakeside cabin with bunk house & game room!

3-bedroom, 2 bath, cabin that sleeps 8 with bunk house that sleeps 6 above a heated garage/game room. A wood burning sauna is also available for sauna swims. This property is located down a low traffic road on Big Swan Lake making it perfect for walking, jogging and biking. We have a private dock for a boat. The dock is also great for fishing and swimming off of. Our property has a fire ring in the back for relaxing by the fire in the evenings and watching the sunset over the lake. There’s a playground and trampoline located across the road and 8 acres to explore. This cabin is ideal for Winter activities as well such as: ice fishing, snow sledding on the hill and ice skating (must bring your own skates) We are located 20 minutes from Powder Ridge Ski Resort that offers skiing, tubing, snowboarding and a restaurant.

Relaxing with old friends
This rental far exceeded our expectations, not only for our group of older friends (mid 30's). But I would take my entire family here, the property worked great for our larger group and is very kid friendly as well. The rustic sauna was great for relaxing and a dip in the lake. I definitely would stay here again and encourage others to do the same. Jim.

The property was super nice and clean. The owners were great on communication, replied in a timely manner and was very helpful. They are very accommodating too. We had trailers and allowed us to park next door as well as our driveway. Thank you for the hospitality!!

Do NOT recommend. Rent at your own risk!
1. Owner personally asked for my personal information which is against VRBO. Any personal information should ONLY be given to VRBO. VRBO confirmed this. 2. Property is NOT listed as a shared property. (VRBO stated this is a severe violation of their terms) This property was also being used at the same time we were staying there by the owner's children. The owners dogs were also on the vacation property the entire time we were there. (The owner lives next door.) 3. Yard was full of dog poop, dead birds and snakes that we had to clean up in order for our kids to play in the yard. 4. Owner entered and went inside the property unannounced, approached our son with two dogs while we were staying there. He also would not identify himself when we approached him and asked what he was doing until after he left and I text the owner and he then responded, "That was me." 5. Advice if you rent from this owner..Make sure to take pictures/video of the property immediately when you arrive as we were accused of damage that we reported. VRBO has stopped the charge on my account and is investigating his accusation.

Horrendous
It was dirty, accommodations were good but so much could be improved upon. First to greet our family in front of the garage were overflowing garbage cans and boxes of beer cans and cans strewen about with flies everywhere. NOT a good first impression!!!! I realize garbage pick up isn't until Monday but maybe a small shed could be put up directly across the road or a dumpster placed to put the previous renters trash. There was a major problem with the ejector pump on the lowwer level of the home (Master bedroom, laundry, tv room. Sewage , water on floor, sewer gas smell . Horrible, told we could manually switch it on and off. Plumber arrived on Wednesday, we were told plumber would be arriving sometime on Tuesday. Plumbers had to come back Thursday and repair again. Safety concerns a huge step ladder holding (propping) up an air conditioner, lack of railing along side the main house (the cement and wood steps) our 50 year old daughter twisted and severely sprained her ankle on these steps, still on crutches. I could rant on but, there were many good times spent with family on the lake and pontoon, and in the garage game area, all though there were no dart heads so the guys and gals couldn't play darts. Another idea might be a portable room divider in the " bunk house" bedroom area above the garage, just for privacy for families. I would not recommend this property for rental until several conditions are addressed.

Enjoyable
Weekend with the fam was fun. Weather wasn’t the best but had a great time playing games in the garage with ping pong table and dart machine. There was plenty of space for us and the views of the lake were amazing. We plan to come back in the summer to enjoy more that the rental has to offer.
