For the first time, I enjoyed a hotel room with a ten-foot ceiling, casement windows and four-ply toilet paper (good for wiping or a rough draft of your memoirs. The staff was friendly and attentive. "Friendly staff, very helpful front-desk team, and an excellent breakfast. Multiple electric car and bike charging ports with easy access to local and regional trains, as well as bike paths. Plenty of parking, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Perfect for a short stay in Leipzig or as a stopover point. Family friendly, but also good for solo and business trips with multiple meeting rooms available. "This is a good hotel for people travelling through the Leipzig area, without a need to go into the city. The hotel is being renovated right now, and hopefully those renovations will lead to improvements. Our main criticism was the shower, as there were no handles to grab on to, and the "slip factor' is great. As it stands, the shower is unsafe. We alerted the contractor about this and I think they are working on improving the showers. Other than that, this hotel is fine for what it is. "
