Abraham Lincoln’s family lived near Decatur in the 1800s. Look for 19th-century buildings and 15 historic sites tied to the man who became a revered president. From a more modern perspective, enjoy the city’s great shopping and dining.

Greatest off the beaten hotel ever
"I have been here before. This is one of the best kept secrets in Decatur, IL. Other than the Lincoln Square Theater which was built around 1915 and host many classic rock concerts. They have a lounge with food and drinks. It is a awesome place to stay."
