Disappointing stay due to cleanliness and noise issues ​Parking in front was convenient, and the 2:00 PM check-in was helpful as we arrived on Orcas Island early. The room was bright, and the bathroom had plenty of towels. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was very disappointing: ​•Water & Amenities: The water from the gallon container near the entrance tasted terrible, so we had to buy bottled water. The shower's hot and cold signs were reversed. •Cleanliness: The room kettle had leftover water, and the coffee cup provided for the Starbucks instant coffee was dirty. Worse, the bed sheet was visibly stained (I took photos). It was very unpleasant. •Noise: We couldn't sleep all night. Upper-floor footsteps creaked continuously. Around 9:00 PM, the next-door guests struggled with their door code and called the owner. Their conversation and keypresses were loud and fully audible. Voices echoed further when someone who seemed to be the owner arrived. Between the upper-floor noise and the neighbor's commotion, neither my husband nor I could sleep until morning. We were very disappointed.

If you like waking up all night because the guests upstairs decided to walk around the squeaky floors and noisy water pipes then, stay at deer harbor inn. Horrible stay, was up 3/4 of the night. Called the in keeper he didn't do anything about the noisy guests at the hotel.

It’s very basic considering the cost. The bed is very soft and not particularly comfortable with 2 people of different weights. Everything just felt a bit thrown together, which is ok but at this price point we had higher expectations.

Very difficult to find in the dark and no cell phone reception - try to arrive earlier or mark the mileage very carefully. Simple, no frills accommodations with limited amenities but the bed was comfortable and the housekeeping staff was very kind.

We had a wonderful stay at the Deer Harbor Inn lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Orcas Island. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy! Perfect after a jam-packed day of hosting activities for our friends, from Deer Harbor marina to Eastsound, and ending with the best brisket ever at Matthews Smokehouse just across from the lodge. We enjoyed peaceful, quiet evenings and fresh air through open windows all night. Very convenient location when arriving by ferry and exploring all that Orcas has to offer! We'll be back!

Deer Harbor is Awesome! And the Deer Harbor Inn is a great place to stay! Once we had the key code for our room we found a cozy, inviting environment. We turned on the fireplace/heater and warmed it up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well lit. The parking was right behind the building and we could see our car from our room which was nice.

Stayed at a lodge room overnight. Excellent value for money. Our room and bathroom were clean. Check in was very easy. The bed was very comfortable; it was so comfy that it heavily influenced our decision to sleep in rather than get back on the road early morning. I would definitely stay again!

Stayed here one night and it was such a smooth stay. Didn't need to even see a staff the whole time. Check in code was given beforehand and everything was so easy. Had an early morning ferry when we left, and it was nice to be able to make a free coffee and fill water bottles with ice and water before taking off. No a/c but it room was pretty cool at night with windows open.

The Inn is quiet, clean and comfortable. It is a bit off the beaten track on the island but nothing is very far away. Many on-line pictures show an old fashioned restaurant but that has been replaced with a smoke house restaurant which is good and very convenient.
