"We really enjoyed our stay at Ibiscus. The front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful in finding things to do around the area, as well as calling us a taxi in the morning. The beach is right across the street and you can rent an umbrella and 2 sun beds for 20 euros for the day. It was a great view from the balcony of our room. The included breakfast was out of this world. They had any and everything you can think of to eat including made to order omelets and fresh bread that you cut yourself! It was a wonderful place to spend a few nights in Rhodes. "

Staff were friendly, especially the lady who was working during breakfast each morning.
The breakfast was good, you can also sit outside for it but that means dealing with people smoking near you so not ideal if like us you don't smoke. I enjoyed the nice fresh bread and fresh fruit. They have a selection of teas too, including green tea.
room was kept clean, only downside was the shower wasn't fixed on the wall but it also had no where to clip it on, which means it had to be held at all times to use it, not the end of the world, but fiddly when you need to open shower gel or shampoo your hair with only one hand. Room has a kettle but they didn't restock any of the teas/coffees we used on the first day. AC worked well. Bed was comfortable.
This hotel is an easy walk from the bus stops too, so we didn't need a taxi to or from the airport.

"This was my third year in a row staying at the Alexia and it has always worked perfectly and is an excellent base of operations for seeing the new and the old fortified city. Many fine and interesting restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The huge buffet breakfast is always nice and a good way to start another pretty day in Rhodes."
