“Tough to get to but nice parking area. Google Maps takes you the wrong way so lookout. My room heater didn’t work and the lights in the bedrooms area didn’t work so had to depend on the glow from the bathroom light which did work. One of two small night stands didn’t work and the one that did had a short circuit so it went on and off. Breakfast was really weak but a very nice effort. This is a small place so it’s great if your expectations are in proper alignment. Location is fantastic.……

“Excellent location for exploring the Gjirokastër bazaar — right in the heart of it all. Arriving close to midnight made parking a bit tricky to find at first, but once we explored the bazaar the next day we discovered a convenient parking deck nearby with shortcuts that made getting to and from the hotel with our bags easy. Our room had stunning views of the mountains, the castle, and the city below — an unforgettable setting. Highly recommend!”

“The welcome from Albi/Alby was appreciated and very friendly. We arrived late and tired after a long journey and he was extremely warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was fairly basic but very clean, had an excellent view and was cleaned every day. We had no iron or ironing board and very few clothes hangers but these were provided on request, no problem at all.
