Anya Resort Hotel was an enigma to us. The place is well built, centrally located, has two beautiful pools, and should, one would expect, be well managed. But somehow that's where it stops. The resort seems to be run by a team of twenty-something year olds who think that blasting Turkish hip hop music on full volume throughout the day in the reception and, worse, across the pool area is the right way to treat hotel guests.
It was also obvious that our room had not been properly checked before our arrival, as the battery of the safe was dead so we were unable to open the safe to store our valuables, and no one had noticed that our room had no coffee station and no minibar refrigerator, despite both being listed in the room description. And on top of all these, our room had no hot water. We had to ask the hotel "management" to rectify all these matters.
The breakfast was surprisingly good with a good variety of everything, BUT believe it not, there was no filter coffee, only powdered instant coffee and powdered milk!
Quite astonishing!
