This hotel was a joke

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: They didn't have bedbugs and the mattresses didn't suck.
Cons: Pretty much everything. The staff was gossiping about a guest who was upset when I came back in.
Location: Restaurants with in walking distant. Close freeway access. Elitch Gardens and Denver Art Museum within 30 mins.
There is no front desk staff. Just a baby monitor looking thing that you have to press a button and someone will come up. Or they yell at you through it. We checked in as a family of 5 and there was 4 towels and 4 pillows in the room. There was a sofa bed in the room but no linens for it. We asked for extra towels and were told that we can only get them if we bring the dirty ones down. This means that in order for everyone to have a dry towel after a shower, someone has to stop what they are doing and take down a wet one to get a dry one for the 5th person. After being at ElitchGardens all day we all came back and showered. Playing the towel game we took the towels down for the 5th person. It was about 6pm. We were told they didn't have anymore clean towels. If we wanted them we needed to get them in the morning. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!. The shower curtain was covered in orange and black mold to make it even better. The breakfast buffet that look awesome in the picture consisted of packages of oatmeal, 3 wrapped muffins and maybe 6 peanut butter granola bars and coffee on the Wednesday. By Saturday it was down to oatmeal and 3 granola bars. I picked this place cause it was a suite and advertised coffee pot, dvd player, utensils, etc so that I could cook. Nothing. Barest room ever. Fridge and sink. That's it. Not a fork, or coffee pot in site. And only one garbage can in the room. And they only offer once a week room cleaning. No broom or dustpan. What a joke.

Very disappointing

Posted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: Was close to the family we were visiting.
Cons: pretty much everything
All common areas of hotel we not clean at all, were bags of garbage piled up in laundry/vending room. Pool was a interesting greenish yellow color which does not make you even want to get in. Breakfast was very disappointing was told there would be granola bars, muffins and oatmeal with coffee and teas. Every morning there was nothing but oatmeal to eat and people just threw there trash everywhere and no staff cleaned it up. The room itself was not bad however do not expect to to get more then one of any item ( towels, pillows, etc) per person which I thought 1 towel each for almost a weeks says without house keeping was not even.

Not a Clean Place

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: Staff was cordial - but as mentioned above - cleaning crew is either understaffed or incompetent
Cons: See above
I was hugely disappointed with the general cleanliness of the hotel. I was there for a month and I never came through the lobby or walked down the halls and felt those areas had (ever) been properly cleaned. Some trash on floor and in hallways would remain in same place for several days at a time. Trash piled up in laundry / vending room on first floor was there for many days - quite disgusting. Pool had a green tint to it the entire time I was there. I would not use pool - I know pool maintenance and there is no way this pool could pass code.

Not the best neighborhood.

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Better managment and staff. Better maintenance and cleaning.
Location: Near Aurora mall.
Hall way and elevator frequently had trash laying around. Staff was virtually non existent. Room was okay and quiet which was a plus. Had it been cleaner and more pleasant accomodations would have stayed longer. It was not and we moved on to another location.

Gang infested neighborhood

Posted Aug 2, 2015
One night there and we saw two cars broken in to, addicts roaming inside and out begging for money. The lamp in our room had a short and shocked my 12 year old. Bad bad place to stay.

Minimum expectations not met

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Good location. Cleanliness was good and the bed was very comfy. It was quiet and we slept well
Cons: Provide enough towels, a couple of plastic cups for oral care
Location: Close to interstate highway. Several restaurants with in walking distance
This "secret" property was listed as 2.5 star. This is not accurate; typically, in my experience, a 2.5 star is a La Quinta, a Best Western, or a property of this caliber. This hotel is an Extended Stay. I've stayed at one several times and they are never a 2.5; they are a 2. But, usually OK. Kind of like playing house to stay there , When we checked in the clerk, Irma, who was very pleasant informed that the room had no pots, pans, dishes, etc. She said she could try to find they things if we needed them. WE didn't. It was just a one night stay. But our room, which was nice enough and clean, didn't even have the minimal amount of thing needed. For the two us there were two bath towels, but only one wash cloth and one hand towel. There was no coffee pot and not even a plastic cup at the sink to use for tooth brushing. We ask for another bath towel as my wife used the pool and were informed there were none available. I would have used the exercises room but there were no towels there either! So, it was a disappointing stay. When I told Irma of our displeasure she said that we could leave and she would refund our money. This was not a good option at 8pm. If just a few things were provided it could have been an OK stay. But, it really failed to meet our (minimal) expectations. VG

The hotel smelled from the minute we walked in. The staff was nice enough but the overwhelming smell made staying there difficult. The elevator had pistachio shells and garbage all over the floor and the pool looked almost green. Our bathroom was clean enough but looked like someone took a hammer to it at some point. It was great there was a burner in the room... If I had an appetite to eat with the smell going on. I wouldn't wish this hotel on my worst enemy.

Keep Driving

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: I liked the way that it looked in my rearview mirror as I was speeding away as fast as legally possible.
Cons: Everything
Location: I believe that there are some other properties that you should check out.
Staff was ok but not great. Saying that the property is dirty would be kind. The elevator floor had stains that made me wish that I could levitate. I actually wiped my feet with the longest strokes possible on the casino carpet in the hallway in an effort to friction burn the germs off the soles of my shoes. The worst part?.... I was woken in the middle of the night by a woman in the hallway screaming for help along with, what I found out later, was her daughter destroying the room next to me. I was actually concerned about my own safety. After everything calmed down I dozed off only to be woken up by a pounding on my door. It was the local police trying to find the crazy girl next door. If you are a thrill seeker that doesn't need sleep, this is the place for you. Otherwise I would keep searching.
