I was absolutely frightened when I went down to the front desk to ask for a pair of scissors and one of the employees pulled out an eighteen inch switch blade to help me get a zip tie off my mother's walker.

My window screen fell right out when I opened it and there was no hot water in the evening. The bed was ok, which was the main reason I don't rate it even more poor. There were large piles of garbage and towels in the hallway. The rooms are connected via vent in the bathroom so you can hear what is going on in the next room while you're in. there. The breakfast was not great. The eggs were poorly made as they tasted powdery and weird. The staff were nice and helpful so thumbs up to them.

After cancelling our first reservation at another hotel for the same reason, we went to the La Quinta Inn. Its was terribble. We had to move rooms because of room being infested with ants. The breakfast was terrible, and the homeless people looking for a place to sleep was a bit much. Was not worth the money. Very disappointing.

Rooms needs to be updated. Found a used toilet paper in my room with blood spots on the side of the roll (junkies used the side of the roll to clean their needles) and my kids were there with us! They need to replaced used rolls every time regardeless of how new the roll is!
