"We all loved staying in this beautiful cabin. Very peaceful, enjoying the fire pit while watching the river traffic. Great view of the river even from inside the cabin. And, it is conveniently located to the nearby restaurant and store in Derby. "

"The cabin was very comfortable, and had everything one could need for a weekend getaway of 4-6 adults. The price was very reasonable as well; we have zero complaints! Notable positives: - Easy access to cabin, no steep roads for access- Large Dollar General within walking distance- Generously stocked kitchen, cleaning closet, bed linens & etc- Great outdoor spaces, from the large porch table to the hot tub and fishing pond; we even got to see some grazing cows next door- The area feels safe but also private, so you can relax without worry- Maybe we just got lucky, but a very friendly orange and white cat showed up on Saturday and hung out most of the night; he was the sweetest.- There is a train track that's basically on the property, some people might find it loud, but we personally found it very exciting to go out and watch it's lights through the trees at night - a stunning, unique sight that we couldn't get enough of (image attached). "

"The owners are amazing welcoming people. Made us feel at home! Everything was wonderful. We had a good time! We wil definitely bw going back!"

"Little slice of heaven! We stayed here to attend a wedding at Matilda’s Event Barn. It was idyllic, so pretty with the fall colors and glassy lake. We loved hanging out in the porch with blankets (early November). Everything was very accommodating, temperature control in both sleeping rooms. Simple check and out. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We’re keeping this in mind for the summer!"
