“Marie was such a kind host! We had a lovely stay. The room was spotless and the bed was very nice. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast as well. Marie sent us off with some sightseeing recommendations too! Highly recommend.”

“Wanted very relaxing spa and restaurant night with husband. Arrived to find many families with young children staying. Used gym whilst awaiting check in. Within 10 minutes of being in (newly refurbished) lovely room, nearby kids were running up and down the corridor knocking on all doors, three times. Asked to be moved. Reception staff responded immediately and we were put in (slightly tired and dated) yet very quiet room elsewhere. Food excellent in restaurant but greeter would not accommodate……
“The property was outstanding. Staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, property was immaculate. Parking was plentiful. But in the main building there was no AC and a tiny window to circulate air. That’s just a selfish opinion but that’s the only minimal complaint if you even want to call it a complaint. More like a spoiled American complaining about nothing. I’d DEFINITELY stay here again. Perfect midway point from Dublin to Galway. And if you decide to get a little lost in Roscommon, well……
“The property was well placed in downtown Athlone with free under ground parking. The rooms in the tower were lovely with nice views over the city. The breakfast was excellent, but it was an extra cost for our booking.
Would recommend.”
“Ok hotel in a good location. Just a bit old and dated. Also the staff ws just ok compared to other stays we have had in Ireland an the breakfast buffet was convenient but not very good.”
