Open the door to this recently renovated condo and say ahhhhh.... You will be greeted with upgrades that include stainless appliances, new furnishings and luxury floors. The interior is well appointed with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Conveniently located on the first floor, there are no steps to climb. Drop your bags and head right across the street to the sandy white beach and emerald waters! Just a few steps outside the living room glass doors is the heated pool and hot tub! A charcoal grill and picnic table are conveniently located near the pool. Enjoy a daily walk, jog or bike ride along several miles of paved walkways right outside your door. With hardwood floors and trendy finishes, this 1BR condo comfortably sleeps 4\. The bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and there is a hallway built-in bunk with two twin beds. An updated bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway, and there is a stackable washer/dryer in the unit. Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to whip up a meal, plus there are charcoal grills available poolside. The living area is designed with comfort in mind and offers cushy seating and an HDTV. A poolside patio offers seating and quick access to the amenities of Grand Caribbean West. Grand Caribbean West is centrally located near many favorite Destin attractions and minutes from the Destin Commons Shopping, Publix, Bass Pro Shop and a variety of local and nationally known restaurants, some within walking distance. Located nearby is the Silver Sands Outlet, a variety of souvenir shops, the Big Kahunas Water Park and a Go Cart Track! Non smoking property so there was no smoking on your porch with your morning cup of coffee; however, there was a smoking spot in the parking lot. Upon arrival the AC in my condo was out but it was fixed within 3 hours on a Saturday night and the owner was very nice and quick with replies to my messages.If you're trying to cook you may want to bring you a pot because there was only skillets. The weather waskind to us and the unit was clean and more than adequate. The extra sleeping beds available made the quick visits from relatives a breeze. We were forewarned of construction in area. Great location, easy beach access. Negatives would be that it needs a new mattress in the master bedroom as it is well past time for a new one. Two people will roll together in middle of bed as it has a bad sink in the middle of the bed. Also neighbors above were extremely load for our whole vacation , walking load and sliding chairs and kids running. The location was a short walk to the public beach access and short drive to Publix, stores, and shopping. The mattress on the bottom bunk should be replaced as it had a horrible-looking stain on it.
