"Die Lage ist großartig, die Mitarbeiter freundlich, wertschätzend und stets mit einem Lächeln. Den General Manager nehme ich allerdings ausdrücklich aus. Alle Zelte liegen perfekt mit Blick auf dem Fluss, die Verpflegung ist sehr gut. Auch in Bezug auf die Nachhaltigkeit gibt sich das Camp große Mühe. "Wow! Fantastic stay, superior staff, super friendly, and absolutely peaceful. The lodge is small, about 8 units, in the middle of a reserve with tranquility. The food was absolutely amazing. Animals on site and inspiring. Make a call to be let in the gate when you arrive."

Man hat uns ausnahmsweise nach viel überreden übernachten lassen, obwohl wir bei Expedia gebucht und bezahlt hatten, mußten wir nochmal bezahlen. Leider wurden wir von Expedia nicht informiert, dass es keine Geschäftsbeziehung gibt."

"Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. Alles super sauber. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Alle Getränke auch tagsüber waren inklusiv."

"Wir hatten zwei Nächte gebucht und sind nach einer Nacht abgereist. Warmes Wasser nur abends, da Solar. Kein Restaurant anders als in der Beschreibung. Man muss alles selbst mitbringen. Eine lieblose Anlage. Nie wieder!"

"Rooms clean and comfortable. A little attention to detail,by the management will make the good. Management forgot to send food from Gabs so staff had nothing to srve in restaurant. Staff need to be empowered to sort out basics like this. You will note by now, that staff try but failure lies at the owners door. Swimming is dry as water gets pumped for miles to the area. Make pool smaller and it might be feasible to fill. The overall place needs maintenance and care as its a bit run down. "

"Gweta Lodge was a perfect break point in our journey, we stayed two nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely village walk one morning, and then enjoyed the evening drive to the pans visiting the Bushmen and the meerkats on the way. The facilities are good enough to make you feel relaxed and at home. We had a lovely time."

"We stayed in the Camps side of the lodge. We were the only guest staying at the camp site section of the lodge.The shower was the best thing in the family room as it had hot water. On the negative side, we found lots of spiders in the room and as it was the rainy season, there were lots of mosquitoes too. No bed nets in the room meant that we were exposed to mosquito bites, which made sleeping uncomfortable. "
