“A absolutely beautiful place to stay. The house, room and everything is impeccable as pictured. Edna was our host and he is the greatest person. Breakfast was amazing as well. Definitely a great place spend some quality time.”

“As there isn’t on-site parking, we worried about where to put the car. No problem at all - directly across the small road and next to the hotel are parking places, and the hotel validates the parking (it is free to you, the guest). The room we stayed in was a good size, had a great bathroom and shower, and a comfortable bed. “What a gem of a hotel. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Especially for my dietary requirements. The hotel has the wow factor when you walk in. The view from our room over looking the river Slaney was spectacular.”

“Our room was a bit tired and there was only a fan and it was very hot no air conditioning so we had to move rooms as we couldn’t sleep. Moved to a family room with AC but didn’t get any refund for the difference in room.”

“Sauberes Zimmer, allerdings war der Teppich etwas verdreckt bzw. in die Jahre gekommen. Wir wurden allerdings sehr freundlich empfangen und hatten eine gute Nacht. Auch das angeschlossene Restaurant und die Bar fanden wir sehr schön.”

“Great little locally owned place. The food was good. The pub was great. Friendly locals gathered as well as fellow travelers. Had a great time and really enjoyed staying at the hotel so much, we decided to stay another night. The staff was also very accommodating where they could be, although we did have a few issues. We had some trouble with no heat in our room the first night. The staff was quick to respond to turn it on that evening; however, it didn't get/stay on, so it never warmed up, and……

“The hotel is older and could use updating. Landscaping appears to be overgrown in some areas. Outside our window was an old grocery cart and a piece of fencing. Not sure why it was there. Parking was limited and there was no air conditioning. Showers were very small.”
