"Our stay at Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon was unforgettable. Check-in was seamless and handled with genuine care—excellent customer service from the start. Ordering food to-go was quick and easy, and the options were delicious and beautifully presented. The sauna and gym were clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Dinner was a highlight—especially the roasted vegetables and Icelandic lamb. Great service and a wonderful selection of drinks made the evening even better. We also spent time enjoying drinks while waiting for the aurora borealis, and the staff was incredibly accommodating throughout. And then—the grand finale—the northern lights appeared - subtle, but beautiful. After a storm and with another one approaching, it felt like such a gift. This hotel is truly the perfect place to experience Iceland’s magic. "

"We have stayed in this hotel for 2 days because of our planned glacier and ice cave tour in Jokulsarlon. The hotel is clean and the staffs are very nice. The breakfast was good and enough. They also have a small kitchen available for the guest to prepare simple meals. The room is bright and warm, with private shower/bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to my friends."

"Very basic, key cards left on the counter and no staff at check in. No elevator so be aware you'll be dragging luggage up several flights of stairs. Our balcony door did not close at all. "Nice place to stop if driving through and weather forces you to stay. Pretty ocean view. Really no amenities. Warm enough water for showering. Waited for it to get hotter as the sign said, but it never got to hot. There was a bus tour there when I stayed, so it wasn't quiet by any means. Staff was kind and friendly. "

"Well, I was expecting a room that looked like the pictures, but I think that's the second floor w those big windows. Instead, we got a room on the ground floor around the side corner of the garage. No clue on where to park so we just parked somewhere hoping it didn't block others. The room was quite big, but there was no table or desk to put stuff on, everything ended up on the floor which I hate. The bathroom is pretty nice but again very lacking in counter space. I've found that even basic hotels in Iceland have very good bathrooms! So much space, maybe add a desk? Otherwise, very clean. "
