"Stayed here for three nights after a few hectic weeks of traveling. It was the perfect place to relax. Esmerelda was very helpful and friendly in check-in and always available if needed. The room was a good size with comfortable bed and an ensuite with unlimited hot water. Trujillo itself is a lovely little spot with plenty to see and great views from the battlements of the old fortress. Plaza Mayor is a great place to while away your time with a book and a cold beer. "The staff were very hospitable which was more similar to the customer service in the U.S. than in other parts of Spain. There were also friendly dogs that were sweet and it's in a very peaceful location. We tried a red wine from their vineyard and I had no complaints."
