"The pillows was very hard to use. Bathroom does not have a light. Blanket not comfortable to use, it was those heavy blaket. We were given a plastic teaspoon to use. They ask us how much did we paid before they gave us a room. But they welcomed us. They were so friendly. "

"The check in was poor as communication between Hotels.com and the hotel was non existent,my reservationwas not received by Avoca ,I think hotels.com is to blame here.Security guards at the establishment were very rude and unfriendly. Rooms were very comfortable and clean,the establishment was very peaceful "

"Rooms were clean and looked good. All the staff members are very friendly and gave great service except Portia, she seems unfriendly. Any issues I had were addressed and resolved. Only problem is the rooms have no mobile network at all but the WiFi helps. The restaurant has good food but takes a long time to prep meals so I would go there for a holiday and not a business trip."

"What a wonderful surprise to find this Utopia on a plateau after a drive up the mountain. We were welcomed by the oh so talented Manager/Chef Lukas, who showed us around and explained in detail what this haven was all about. Our room was very comfortable surrounded by the peace of the bush. Our dinner superb, prepared by Lukas and served by the delightful Abigail ( I am a fellow Zimbabwean, so it was an instant kinship with the staff). Thank you Leshiba"
