“we spent a long weekend in michigan for my sweet partner’s birthday. i wanted to make sure we indulged in some of his favorite things while we were away, and this cozy apartment was the perfect home base. the city of reading was full of small town vibez including locally owned restaurants and dispensaries. the weather was a lil chilly and rainy for our time away, but we were thrilled to have a comfortable space to watch movies and smoke without bother. every single person we dealt with in town……

“Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful! Diana was a fantastic host who was super quick at communicating with us and very helpful! The lake house was in a lovely and peaceful location. There was so much provided for us to use, which meant our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our time on the lake. The house itself was extremely clean and very well stocked, it truly had everything we needed for our stay! It's a beautiful and quiet spot that is perfect for relaxing or playing on the lake.……

“Our son and his wife graduated Hillsdale College May 2025. We booked our stay here a year in advance wanting to be sure to get the Heritage House again. Back in 2023, our first son Graduated from Hillsdale and we stayed here with family and friends. This is the PERFECT place! It easily sleep large crowd on 3 levels, has lovely indoor and outdoor seating and eating areas, and the kitchen is set up to feed a crowd. The owners are quick to respond even bringing ice to us when we were short……

“The hosts were very responsive. Lots of unexpected amenities like hot drink bar, super clean home, full sizewasher and dryer. Great wifi, but the view out back was so good. Don't let the simple front deceive you, really nice! If we are back up this way, we would definitely rent again. ”

“My son was in town for a summer football practice. Beds were very comfortable. Having a washing machine after a sweaty workout was very nice. I appreciated the kitchen to heat leftover lunch while my son was with his teammates. Temps got a bit warm upstairs during the day but comfortable for sleeping with the extra fans. That would not usually be an issue if not for late June. ”
