“I enjoyed staying here. It was lively and colourful. Some of the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was very good, and options excellent. It was dog friendly! The parking was good for us as the area was brilliant for playing with the dog on the grass. Beau Maris is a beautiful place to explore. Two things about the room, tight to get round the bed and we needed binoculars to see the tv, so it didn’t matter that there were not many channels to watch.”

“The Victoria is located ideally for travellers use as a base for Anglesey & North Wales. There is parking but sometimes busy and full. Waiting and room staff are very pleasant & polite. One staff member stood out exceptionally, think his name was Toby?The service and food there was very good, but the continental breakfast area and self serve hot drinks needs attention. However, one day a male manager gave a female staff member a very loud upsetting verbal discipline, which clients could hear. It……

“Disappointed that TV didn't work, nor was there a radio. Also room didnt have a lock apparantly as the room was designated as a fire escape. The good points were the breakfast and cleanliness and bed comfortable.”

“Breakfast was good. Nothing else was. Not recommended. Our room was directly above the bar with a live band, which meant room shaked and vibrated. Continued until after 11pm to be replaced with loud music until midnight. When asking the staff what time it would finish, the manager intervened into an amicable conversation and proceeded to be aggressive, confrontational and abusive towards to me. This included calling me an offensive term multiple times. And suggesting to his staff that they……

“Really nice guest house. The owners are prepared and ready to help. The room is clean with nice comfortable bed. Good location close to water, town center, and pub/restaurant next door. Overall a wonderful stay.”
