“Die Lage direkt an der Straße und am Hafen führt dazu, dass gefühlt immer Verkehr ist, allerdings auch bei offenem Fenster nach vorn raus auszuhalten. Wir haben nicht gefrühstückt und waren die ganze Zeit unterwegs, so dass wir über die Betreiber nichts sagen können.”
“We chose this property for its location to the ferry terminal however due to the noisy plumbing and size of the room we felt it was over priced and uncomfortable. Definitely too small for a double room more like a box room.
In fact a 4 hour drive in the early hours would have been preferable.”
“Recently returned from a long weekend break and could not fault our stay. The room was very clean, spacious and had everything needed including iron, ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries and ample towels. The Sunday carvery was amazing and really busy so best to book in advance. The staff were all really friendly and helpful which completely made our stay. Great friendly bar and I would highly recommend booking.”
“We had to ask for the room to be vacuumed again when we arrived and while the main bits of the room were clean (bed, toilet, and shower), the rest did not seem very clean (stains everywhere on the carpet and chairs, toothpaste marks on the bathroom ledge etc). The bathroom smelt bad and it seemed like the sink was leaking and there was a pile of mouldy looking sludge on the floor as a result. Plates were not clean at breakfast. View from the room was of a wall in the car park. I do not know how……
“The staff were very welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
The room was clean, tidy & light. Plenty of tea, coffee, bottled water & biscuits, which were replenish daily.
It was ideal having the pub attached as we did not have far to travel for a meal & drink. The food was delicious, fresh & plenty to choose from.
The breakfast was amazing. Plenty of cereal, bread, yoghurts, tea & coffee. The booked breakfast was cooked to order & cooked fresh, it was delicious.
