Prachovske rocks, Bohemian Paradise, Czech republic 

Prachovske skály (=rocks) are the most famous rock town in Czech republic. It was born as a sandstone sediment of a prehistoric ocean some 100 Milion years ago. It was formed by the water, wind, frost, rain and it created numerous rock towers which were in 1933 certified as a nature park reservation. It is situated ca. 100 km northeast from Prague near the town of Jičín. 

The view is from the valley bellow the viewpoint Vyhlídka Českého ráje (=Bohemian Paradise). “Zimmer war modern, sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und stets freundlich. Schöner Wellnessbereich mit zwei Saunen, Ruheraum und Massageräumen. Frühstück hervorragend. Restaurant aufgeteilt in zwei Bereiche. Eines der Bereiche hatte ein Spielbereich für Kinder. Als Familie waren wir rundum zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.”

“1\. die Sprachverständigung ging weder in deutsch noch in englisch, 2\. die Rezeption war ca. 90% unbesetzt, zuletzt lag ein Zettel mit einer Tel.-Nummer am Tresen... man war aber im Biergarten mit den anderen Angestellten rauchen!!! 3\. die ganze Woche hat der Aufzug gesponnen... es gab alle erdenklichen Störszenarien (Einzelheiten auf Anfrage) am Vorabend der Abreise musste ich noch eine Personenbefreiung machen, weil er einfach stehen blieb. Es gab an diesem Aufzug kein……

“Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern ( 8-15 Jahre) in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus! Unser Aufenthalt war einfach absolut perfekt und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Das Haus verfügt über 3 Bäder, 5 gemütliche Schlafzimmer, eine große Küche mit offenem Wohnbereich welcher genug Platz für viele Leute bietet. Highlight des Hauses ist ganz klar der große Pool und die schöne große Terrasse, welche auch die Möglichkeit zum Grillen bietet. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und idyllisch. Mit dem Auto ist man……

“Die Unterkunft ist gut zu finden, die Übergabe fand per Telefon und mit dem Opa statt, sehr unpersönlich und schwierig, da er nur tschechisch kann. Das Mobilar ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, es ist schmuddelig, abgegriffen und durchgesessen. Leider gab es nicht genügend Stühle, wir haben diese dann selber vom Boden geholt. Geschirr ist genügend vorhanden, aber leider dreckig und schmierig. Wir haben vor der Benutzung alles gereinigt. Die Unterkunft war auch dreckig, vorallen die Badezimmer……

“Das Haus ist super, jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Wenn man alle Betten belegt, wird es leider etwas eng in Küche und Speiseraum. Das Grundstück und die Gegend ist sehr schön abgelegen und ruhig. Die Kinder hatten viel Spaß beim Füttern der Esel, Schafe, Pferde. Außerdem gibt es viele Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder. Leider konnten wir die Sauna nicht nach unseren Wünschen nutzen (nur 1x da nur noch für private Zwecke). Hot Tube-Reinigung dringend nötig! Keine Inrarotkabine!”
