Marshall Point Lighthouse is located near the fishing village of Port Clyde, Maine. The Lighthouse property includes the wonderful light, connected via the long wooden runway to the property, a lovingly-restored Keeper’s House, as well as welcoming grounds and complimenting gardens. In The Keeper’s House, there is an extensive museum housing exhibits centered on the lighthouse as well as a historic look into the industries and life on our peninsula.
As an interesting detail, in the movie “Forest Gump” Tom Hanks concluded his long run on the lighthouse runway.
There is “limited” but adequate parking available with easy access to the grounds and Museum.

“Rowena and Rusty are lovely hosts with a wonderful little private apartment on the bottom floor of their home. They are present in their main living quarters up a flight of stairs from the living room, but the unit is very private w no crossover. The amenities match their add and are easily accessible, and everything was clean and comfortable. They also leave a sweet little hand written note upon your arrival. Highly recommend!”

“We stayed for 7 days October 18-25-2025 and we absolutely loved this cottage! The fall foliage was spectacular!! We canoed out to the two islands and it was so fun. We walked the neighborhood, sat on the deck every morning with our coffee watching the sunrise which was epic! “Everything was perfect for us at this great property. The location is right on the harbor with views that never end. I rented with the plan of painting the scenery right from the property, it couldn't have been better. Very quiet and relaxing spot, we even had an eagle in the backyard. The house is cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed the deck facing the water. Definitely want to plan to come back soon. ”
