“Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up. Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book. ”

“Fabulous eco-retreat in the rural wilderness of Sri Lanka. Loved the feel and vibe of this resort. Everyone was super friendly and we came away very relaxed after a two night stay. Unlike anywhere wise we visited on our two week trip. Recommended ”

“選擇這個飯店主要是因為要去附近的 Udawale 看大象safari . 飯店離國家公園很近 wifi的速度也不錯但是室內有蠻多螞蟻. 聽說這家飯店是附近最新的飯店了 .飯店的人員也可以用英文溝通總而言之我沒有什麼抱怨但如果不是要去 Udawale 國家公園應該不會特別再回來了 ”

“We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful……

“Too expensive for what it is - Needs serious updating and maintenance- new mattresses are a must !”

“no wifi in rooms hotels.com describes the tent with aircondition, thats why we booked this room but there is no aircondition in tent the employee of this hotel said it is not their problem... demand us, the customers to contact Hotels. com.... And also said we only paid 30 USD, why expect an air condition...”

“Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Be sure to try the special Cinnamon Infused Ice Tea – it’s also lovely with some lemon gin in the evening! The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall……

“We stayed for one night for the Safari. The property is well maintained, clean and it is as described. The owner is very responsive, offer good service. We enjoyed the breakfast included in the reservation after the Safari. I would definitely recommend this place. ”

“Great atmosphere!! Right in the nature. Nice staff, clean room and extraordinary inside out, outside in bathroom design, very comfortably and relaxing. ”

“Agthira river camp was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was so nice. Looking onto the river was very relaxing and hours were spent watching the monkeys. The buffet in the morning and evening was great. The safari was booked via the hotel and was a great experience.”

The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and the hosts made the experience extra special, everyone was so friendly! Food was delicious and plentiful.
