"Excellent service. Hi to Maria and the rest of the crew. Personalized service form the moment we walked in. Property is beautiful and clean. It was quiet this time of year but we prefer it that way. Room was ample, clean, beautiful with a great bed that is very comfortable. Perfect place for relaxing as a couple and enjoy good wine in Rioja. Taxi service was arranged by hotel. The grounds are beautifully maintained. They have kept the medieval nature of the surrounding with modern amenities at this great hotel. Food is delicious and Allegar as well as Calao is excellent in every way. The best tarta de queso Vasca that I’ve had had has been at the restaurant at the hotel. . Thanks for your hospitality. "I stayed here last year when working at the Navarra circuit, which is 15 to 20 mins away. So I did the same again this year and had the benefit of a much larger room than last year with a desk to work at. The rooms are spacious, loads of power points and quiet. Comfy bed and clothes storage. Nice bathroom with excellent shower. The breakfast was the usual continental, with a range of cereals, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, fruit, juices and tea/coffee. There was also the option of eggs, bacon and chorizo sausages. All regularly topped up too. In the evening the restaurant opened about 8:45 and had an excellent value for money menu selection. The food was very good with more than enough options and menu changes to keep you satisfied when there for a week. The only think to note is it wasn't open on Saturday and Sunday night, but the adjacent bar does a great range of burgers and chips, salads, sandwiches and pastries etc. The car park is of a reasonable size and as it is on the edge of Longroño getting to and from at the beginning and end og the day was never a problem. "

"Right by the river, this hotel offers some nice views. It is also an easy walk to Bodegas Franco Españolas on the other side of the Ebro, or to Calle Laurel, which is a lively lane of tapas joints in the centre of town. Every staff member I encountered was polite and helpful, especially the gentleman who asked the bartender to give me big cup of ice. (There’s no ice machine at the hotel) If you own a travel-sized EU hairdryer, you may want to pack it, since the one here is the useless kind that is attached to the wall by a short cord and requires you to hold down a button to make it run."

If I’m ever in Longrono again I will definitely stay here. if you’re driving, make sure to put in the correct street address as Google maps was not accurate with the location. "
